Breakthrough
The "California Breakthrough Project," a new project by California Governor Gavin Newsom, aims to improve public service efficiency and fortify public-private partnerships. Senior executives from well-known cryptocurrency startups like Ripple, Coinbase, and MoonPay were also invited to the project, according to the Eleanor Terrett of FOX Business. On June 6, the project's working group met for the first time at Ripple's offices in San Francisco. In addition, prominent angel investor Ron Conway and leaders from digital firms like Anduril Technologies, Snapchat, and Instacart attended the conference.
The following are the Breakthrough Project's primary goals.
- promoting cooperation between decision-makers at the state level and professionals in the fields of innovation, business, and technology.
- Finding systemic inefficiencies in government services, technology, and procedures and offering creative fixes, establishing new California-based project and competition formats to create contemporary solutions while upholding ethical standards, worker and civil society participation, and public transparency throughout the innovation process
